The York County library system has announced the next three locations for its financial literacy workshop, Money School. The program helps high school students and their parents financially prepare for life after graduation, whether that means higher education, joining the military or going straight into the work force.

The workshops will each be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The dates are: Saturday at Eastern York High School; Saturday, March 9, at Susquehannock High School; and Saturday, April 13, at Hanover High School.

The workshops introduce students to the basics of managing checking and savings accounts, using debit and credit cards, the importance of credit history, and how to create a financial plan, budget and goals. This course is also helpful for students who are getting a first job or saving for a car.

Students and their parents may attend at any location and should register online at www.yorklibraries.org. For more information, contact Bonnie Young at (717) 849-6944 or byoung@yorklibraries.org.
