New York City's 92nd Street Y has announced that interviewer Charlie Rose will moderate a discussion with former Vice President Al Gore to be aired at the York JCC, 2000 Hollywood Drive, on Tuesday. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m.

A noted environmentalist, Gore will deliver his assessment of how our planet will change in the decades to come. Author of the best seller "An Inconvenient Truth," Gore will discuss the six critical drivers of global change laid out in his new book, "The Future."

Gore will be at the 92nd Street Y, but members of the York audience will have the opportunity to ask him questions in real time.

Representatives of a number of local environmental groups, including the new Reel to Real film group, will be on hand to offer a local perspective. Tickets are $5 and are available at the JCC up to and including the evening of the program.
