An elderly Hanover man was hurt Tuesday night when his car crashed into a tractor-trailer on Baltimore Pike in West Manheim Township, police said.
According to township police, Carroll Rohrbaugh Jr., 81, was southbound in the 2100 block about 9:30 p.m. when his Nissan sedan struck a Freightliner tractor-trailer that had pulled out from a parking lot onto the road.
The Nissan hit the rig in the middle of its trailer, on the driver's side, police said.
An ambulance took Rohrbaugh to York Hospital. He was in satisfactory condition Wednesday morning, a hospital spokesman said.
The tractor-trailer driver, Sabourin Yves, 31, of Quebec, Canada, wasn't hurt. He was delivering ATVs to a local business, police said.
