The North Sherman Street bridge over Interstate 83 has reopened, according to PennDOT.
It had been closed since Jan. 23 as crews from Kinsley Construction Inc. replaced the entire bridge, as well as the Eberts Lane bridge over I-83, the state Department of Transportation said.
The project cost nearly $9 million, PennDOT said.
On Thursday, crews finished installing signs and guard rails, then reopened the section of road, which spans Springettsbury and Spring Garden townships.
Some work remains, but the bridge will remain open with no restrictions.
More than 10,000 vehicles travel North Sherman Street daily, according to PennDOT.
