York City residents can dispose of storm-related yard debris at the city's compost facility on Saturday.

The site at Memorial Stadium on Vander Avenue will accept small tree limbs and brush between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to a news release.

Grass clippings will not be accepted. City residents will need to show proof of residency, such as a driver's license or sewer bill.

Yard waste will be collected for a final time this year on Monday, Dec. 10 and Tuesday, Dec. 11.

To take advantage of yard-waste collection, customers must place the debris in authorized yellow cans or in biodegradable paper bags. Yellow cans and paper bags are for sale at City Hall, 101 S. George St.

Branches no more than four inches in diameter should be bundled. Bundles can weigh no more than 40 pounds.

Grass clippings may be bagged and picked up at any time.
