Turkey Hill Dairy on Monday announced a recall of its Mint Chocolate Chip All Natural Ice Cream.

The Lancaster-based dairy company recalled 1,200 packages of the 48-ounce ice cream because it contains undeclared coconut, according to a news release.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to coconut run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product, the company said.

No illnesses have been reporter, according to the release.

The ice cream was distributed in York, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Philadelphia and Wilkes Barre-Scranton at the following stores: Turkey Hill Mini Markets, John Herr's Village Market, Cold Cut Hut and Shady Maple Farm Market.

Consumers who purchased the product with UPC 0-20735-11203-8 are asked to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them immediately.
