Parking permits will be required for West York residents who live near the York Expo Center as the White Rose Thunder is held starting Thursday.
In order to park on streets previously marked with "special event permit parking" signs, residents will need a parking permit, according to borough police.
Most residents already have the permits, which were issued in the lead up to the York Fair earlier this month.
Residents in need of a permit should contact the borough office at 846-8889.
Residents must have a valid registration for the vehicle they want a permit for, and permits will only be given to the owner of the vehicle.
Motorists who violate the parking order will have their vehicles ticketed, police said.
White Rose Thunder runs from Thursday to Sunday.
Residents who witness a parking violation are asked to contact police through the station by calling 854-1975.
