Spring Garden Township Police are investigating a report of a "suspicious person" who followed a 16-year-old female as she walked Monday afternoon.

The juvenile reported that she was walking in the 800 block of Southern Road around 3 p.m. when she saw a thin male in his early 20's, possibly Hispanic, with dark hair and a mustache. He was wearing blue jeans and sneakers and sitting in a faded green car, possibly a Nissan Altima, police said.

The man, who earlier appeared to be watching her, followed her to the area of Midland Avenue and Woodberry Road and got out of the vehicle. He approached the girl, asking for her name and address. The girl continued walking, and the man got back into his car, police said.
