Two York City residents are facing more charges in connection with an Aug. 8 burglary in Manchester Township.
Clyde Searles, 54, and Catherine Smith, 49, both of the 200 block of Belvidere Street, were arrested in West Manchester Township Aug. 9 after attempting to pawn jewelry taken during the burglary.
Northern York County Regional Police Department said the two forced themselves in through the front door of a home in the 600 block of Woodlandview Drive between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., taking a coin collection and the jewelry.
Both were arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property, but police recently added burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and criminal trespass charges.
