A man wanted in Maryland and Florida was arrested in Shrewsbury Tuesday morning.

Southern Regional Police arrested Robert David Orwig Jr. at a home on Onion Boulevard without incident after officers learned he was in the borough, police said.

He had been on the run from authorities for two years, police said.

Orwig is wanted in Florida on charges of resisting arrest with violence and a probation violation. He's also wanted in Maryland on charges of felony larceny and theft of more than $500, police said.
