A 2-year-old boy died Friday after he was found floating in his family's Dover Township swimming pool, police said.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Spangler Avenue around 10:43 a.m., according to a news release.

The child's uncle and a neighbor performed CPR on the child until emergency responders arrived. The boy, Tristan Clive Duke, was taken to York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Northern York County Regional Police.

Tristan was the son of Brittany R. Duke and Michael J. Crowther, Jr., according to his obituary. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes, 902 Mount Rose Ave. Visitation is 1-2 p.m., with burial being private and at the family's convenience.

The investigation continues, police said.

An autopsy was performed Saturday morning, and the cause of death is still pending, according to the York County Coroners Office.
