A military ring was stolen after it was delivered to a Spring Garden Township home by a carrier service last week.
While stationed at Fort Lee in Virginia, a soldier had the ring shipped to his home in the 1300 block of Clover Lane, according to township police.
When the ring arrived on Friday, someone opened the package, took the ring and left the packaging, police said.
The ring is a man's gold ring, size 11.5 with an aqua marine stone that has the culinary service symbol engrave in it in the center of the ring. The ring also has "92-G" engraved on the outside of the band and the initials ZSN engraved on the inside, police said.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Sgt. Michael Grada at 843-0851.
