A man robbed a PNC Bank in Hanover Monday afternoon.
The man entered the bank in the 800 block of Carlisle Street about 2:23 p.m., approached a teller and handed the bank employee a note stating the bank was being robbed, according to Hanover Police.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the man and the man fled the bank, police said.
No weapons were displayed during the robbery and no one was injured, police said.
Police describe the robber as a black man with a light complexion, dark hair with a ponytail and a light beard or heavier mustache. He's between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot with a slender athletic build and weighs between 190 and 200 pounds, police said.
He was last seen wearing a green "Relay for Life" T-shirt, blue jeans that were torn at both front pockets and a green baseball cap, police said.
