Springettsbury Township is now on Facebook.

In early June the township launched its first official Facebook page. The township's page is also joined by separate pages for the police and recreation departments, along with a new page for the York Area United Fire and Rescue Department.

Additional social media channels, including LinkedIn and Pinterest, will be launched over the next several months, the township said, and the police department is also currently researching a new text message alerting system for public safety notifications.
