The York City Recreation and Parks Bureau summer movie series is held at Kiwanis Lake, North Newberry Street and Parkway Boulevard, on Wednesday evenings starting at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.
This week's feature is "Zoo Keeper" starring Kevin James.
The summer movie series is free to the public, and the movies that have been selected are appropriate for families. Restrooms will be open for public use in Farquhar Park. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and your favorite snacks.
Movies will not be shown during inclement weather.
The movie schedule is as follows: Wednesday, "Zoo Keeper"; July 11, "The Smurfs"; July 18, "Happy Feet 2"; July 25, "Kung Fu Panda"; Aug. 1, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."
