A garage in the 700 block of King Street was totaled after an arson fire early Thursday morning, said York City Acting Fire Chief David Michaels.
Fire crews responded to a call about the fire at 1:15 a.m. for the unattached garage located in the alley between King Street and West Poplar Street, Michaels said.
The fire was confined to the garage, and crews had it out in about 15 minutes, he said.
No vehicles were inside the garage, but the structure was totaled, Michaels said.
The cause of the fire was arson, and York City Police took a report and will be in charge of the follow-up investigation, he said.
There are no leads or suspects at this point, Michaels said.
