Cash was stolen during a burglary at a chain restaurant in Hopewell Township on Monday.

The undisclosed amount of cash, which amounts to two days' worth of deposits, was stolen from a safe in an office of the Ruby Tuesday at 1020 Far Hills Drive sometime between 1 and 9 a.m., according to state police.

Entry was made into the restaurant through the front door after the lock was tampered with. Once inside, a burglar or burglars broke out a window to get into the office and then forcibly entered the safe, police said.
