York could get some rain early this week before summer comes in with a vengeance on Wednesday.
Showers are likely Monday, mostly before 8 p.m., along with south winds of 6-8 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Monday's high will be 74 and the low 64.
There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, the forecast said. The high will be 89 and the low 67, and winds will be from the south at 5-7 mph.
For the first official day of summer on Wednesday, York will have a sunny day, with a high of 93 and low of 72, the NWS said.
Thursday will also be sunny, with a high of 96 and low of 73, the forecast said.
Friday will be partly sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, the forecast said. The high will be 90 and the low 68.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 83 and low of 65, the NWS said.
