A Franklin County woman was arrested at the Adams County Courthouse Wednesday after she threatened to kill people there, police said.
The 24-year-old woman, whose name was not released, was spotted by Gettysburg Police officers about 12:45 p.m. outside of the courthouse, borough police said.
When the officers approached the woman, she began screaming obscenities and was saying that she was going to kill people, police said.
After a short struggle, the woman was arrested and while in custody, she continued to be combative, police said.
Earlier in the day, at about 10:30 a.m., the woman had called the Franklin County Probation office and said she was going to the courthouse to "shoot people up and shoot the cops," police said.
The woman was taken to Gettysburg Hospital to be evaluated. Police will release her name after the evaluation is finished.
The woman will be charged with three counts of aggravated harassment and one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, police said.
