Update:
A 17-year-old boy from the Brogue area is dead following a Monday afternoon crash in Chanceford Township.
Authorities have not released his name as of Monday night because his family has not yet been notified.
The teen was a passenger in a 1990 Ford Ranger pickup truck, driven by 18-year-old Fabian Posey of Red Lion, that crashed on a private property in the 12500 block of Collinsville Road about 3:50 p.m., according to state police.
One of the truck's rear tires fell into a rut in the private farm lane, causing Posey to lose control of the pickup, police said.
The pickup went up an embankment and overturned. The passenger was partially ejected and was pinned underneath the truck, police said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, said York County Chief Deputy Coroner Claude Stabley.
Since the crash happened on private land, state police are terming the crash as a non-vehicular crash.
"So it's classified more as a farm-related crash," Stabley said.
State police are continuing to investigate the crash.
