Both lanes of Interstate 83 northbound at the Strinestown exit (Exit 28) are now open, according to state police.

A Thursday-morning crash on the highway forced officials to temporarily close the right lane, police said.

The 9:19 a.m. crashed involved a a jackknifed tractor-trailer, and one person was reported to have a moderate head injury, according to dispatches.
