York City Police are investigating an early morning assault and robbery in the 100 block of North Newberry Street Friday.

Police said resident Sterling Holler said he was assaulted and robbed of $30 shortly after midnight, but he could not provide a description of the robber. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 846-1234.
