St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 947 N. George St. in North York is hosting two free workshops to help people become stronger financially. They are:

* 7-9 p.m. Monday, "More than Money Matters: Stewardship & Values," an interactive educational workshop that will help you identify your values so you can make intentional choices about how you share, save and spend your money. This workshop is presented by representatives of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

* 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, "How Money Works - Financial Ministry," a basic course in how to make the most of your financial resources, including financial planning, debt freedom, investing, generous giving, leaving a legacy and adding value to yourself. It is presented by Joe Kochenour, financial consultant.
