Water hydrant adapters, valves and couplings were stolen from the 300 block of Edgehill Drive in Spring Garden Township.

The theft happened between noon Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, according to township police.

Work was being done in the area to clean and line water main lines. The items are valued at several hundred dollars, police said.
