Bridge reopened
The Fuhrman Mill Road bridge over the west branch of the Codorus Creek in West Manheim Township has been reopened after completion of a reconstruction project.
The road had been closed to through traffic between Black Rock Road and Route 94 since January as crews demolished the existing bridge and constructed a new one, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The former bridge was built in 1926 and was classified structurally deficient. The new, $495,512 bridge was built by Susquehanna Valley Construction Corp. of New Cumberland.
HANOVER
Tour an organ
The organ restoration campaign committee of Emmanuel UCC, 124 Broadway, Hanover, will offer a visual organ tour of the console and pipe closets/chambers of its 1930 Skinner organ, which is to be restored.
Tours, which are open to the public, are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Sunday and May 13.

PENN STATE YORK
Student art show
The artwork of Penn State York students is featured on the north glass lobby of the second floor of the campus's Pullo Family Performing Arts Center during the spring art show through May 4.
Nineteen original pieces by 10 students are part of the show. The exhibit is sponsored by the Penn State York Visual Arts Club.
Best of Show went to Laura White of Marietta for her drawing "Bulletin Board." Honorable mentions were awarded to Laura Davila Reyes of East Berlin for her painting "Lemon" and to Aditya Hadkar of York for his drawing "Journey."
Some works are for sale and range in price from $40 to $220. Hours for the exhibition are 8 a.m-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. For more information on the show, email Joel Wiggins at jdw5362@psu.edu.
