A traffic accident closed a portion of Richland Avenue in Spring Garden Township for about two hours Thursday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident with entrapment just after 8 a.m. on Richland near the intersections of Kings Mill Lane and Zinns Quarry Road, according to York County 911.

Fire police were dispatched to the area to control traffic, according to 911 radio calls. The incident was cleared after 10 a.m.
