A Spring Garden Township convenience store was burglarized for the second time in a little over a month.

Family Mart, located at 1700 E. Market St., was broken into between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to township police.

Among the items taken were cigarettes, chewing tobacco, medication and the store safe. Additionally, money was removed from the ATM, police said.

In the early hours of March 6, the store was broken into, and entry was made by breaking out the glass in the front door.

Police did not say if the two burglaries are connected.
