Starting Monday, PCN will pre-empt the "PCN Call-In" program to air live Congressional town hall meetings hosted at universities and colleges across the state beginning at 7 p.m. for the entire week.
The Penn State York campus will be featured on Friday. The 90-minute live program will allow college students, area residents, professors, local political reporters and former representatives, to discuss and share reaction about what is going on this election year within their congressional district.
All nine Democratic and Republican candidates that are running for office within the 4th Congressional District will be attending and will get an opportunity to briefly share their platform with the audience.
The town hall meeting, which will be held in the Community Room within the Ruhl Student Community Center on campus, is open to the public, but for those unable to attend, participation is possible through e-mail and Twitter. Comments and questions during the event can be sent to pcntv2012@pcntv.com or tweeted using #pcntv2012.
