Carroll Township Police arrested a motorcyclist who allegedly fled from officers after finding him hiding in a Dillsburg-area alley.

An officer tried to stop the motorcycle Harold Smith III was riding on Golf Course Road on April 2, according to township police.

But Smith, 31, of the first block of South Baltimore Street in Franklintown, took off and tried to hide from searching officers in an alley, police said.

Smith was found and arrested, police said. He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving without a current vehicle inspection.
