---Encourage Me Women's Group, 9:30 a.m. Thursday. This group is a support group for women and mothers. Sponsored by the Ladies of Freedom International Worship Center. For more information, contact Christina at 717-659-1257 or April Womack at 717-318-7410. Registration required.
---Introduction to the eBranch, 5:30 p.m. Monday. Staff members take patrons on a tour of the library's eBranch. The first hour will be devoted to hands-on guidance on navigating the website to browse and select materials. The second hour will focus on device-specific instruction to transfer files to your eReader. Bring your device, Amazon log-in information (for Kindle users), and your library card. It would be helpful if your initial setup of the device is completed prior to the class. Registration required.
---Drop-In Evening Electronic Resource Training, 8 p.m. to close Monday through Thursday, April 12. Drop in for an overview of the electronic resources available through York County Libraries in a casual, freeform session.
---Trees 4 Kids, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14. Learn about trees, celebrate Earth Day and get ready for spring. Kids will be able to plant a tree seed/seedling and decorate a pot that they will take home. Registration required.
---Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem, 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14. Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem perform songs from their new family CD, Ranky Tanky. Even though it's free, you must pre-register with the library. This is a family event presented by the Susquehanna Folk Music Society.
---Keyboard Skills, 9 a.m. Monday, April 16 and 24. This is not a typing class. Instead, we examine what all those extra keys on the computer do. $25 for 2-hour session. Registration required.
---Mouse Skills, 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 18 and 25. Learn to click, double-click, click and drag, and right click, and what each kind of click will do. There will be lots of practice in this class. $25 for 2-hour session. Registration required.
---Basic Internet Skills, 9 a.m. Thursday, April 19 and 26. This class will discuss what the Internet is, learn to move from website to website using links and URLs (addresses), and search the Web using the Google search engine. $25 for 2-hour session. Registration required.
---YCPD Youth Outreach Program, 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25. Police visit and play video games with kids up to age 15. Pizza and snacks are provided.
