Two Central York graduates came up just short of having films they worked on clinching Academy Awards on Sunday.

Neal Dodson's company produced "Margin Call," which was up for Best Original Screenplay by J.C. Chandor.

Dodson's film, which is a Wall Street financial thriller starring Kevin Spacey, Stanley Tucci and Demi Moore, lost out to Woody Allen and "Midnight in Paris." Check out clips of the films here.

Erin Owens' company Long Shot Factory was in charge of the theatrical release of "Hell and Back Again," a film released last fall about a Marine who suffers combat wounds in Afghanistan and must return to Jacksonville to rebuild his life. The film earned a nomination for Best Documentary.

Owens' film lost out to "Undefeated." Check out clips of the documentaries here.
