ISLAMABAD—Pakistan's prime minister says the closure of NATO supply lines through the country hurts Islamabad's relationship with the U.S. as well as other coalition members.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf made his comments at the opening of a meeting of key Pakistani civilian and military decision makers Tuesday evening.

They are meeting to discuss whether to reopen NATO supply routes to Afghanistan that have been closed since a deadly American airstrike last November killed 24 Pakistani troops.

The dispute over the supply lines has sent relations between the wary allies to new lows.
