Eastern York won the season-opening York-Adams League Division II golf tournament on Thursday at Bon Air Country Club.

The Golden Knights finished with a 404 total on the challenging par-71 layout near Glen Rock.

Eastern's Zach Dixon was the individual medalist on the day with a 74, while his teammate, Kevin Crumbling, fired a 76.

The only other player to break 80 on the day was West York's Axel Hartman, who fired a 78.

Two players shot 80: Eastern's Andrew Davis and Dover's Logan Snyder. Two others shot 81: Eastern's James Davis and West York's Trevor Sweitzer.

West York finished second as a team with a 450 total, followed by Dover at 470 and the host school, Susquehannock, at 476.

Ace at Briarwood West: Don Kohler had a hole in one on Wednesday at Briarwood West Golf Club.

Kohler used a 7-iron to ace the 165-yard ninth hole.
