Isaiah Logue's run at the U.S. Amateur has come to an end.

The two-time York County Amateur champion dropped a 2-up decision to Cameron Young at the Atlanta Athletic Club in a Round of 32 match on Thursday.

The Fairfield golfer held a one-hole lead after No. 15, but lost each of the last three holes and ultimately the match.

Young, from Scarborough, N.Y., birdied No. 16 to square up the match and then took a one-hole lead after parring No. 17, while Logue bogeyed the hole. Young also birdied No. 18 to win that hole and the match.

Logue finished the day at 3-over par, while Young was 2-over par.

Young was seeded No. 20 after stroke-playing qualifying, while Logue was seeded No. 52.

The event started with 312 golfers, which was cut to 64 after stroke-playing qualifying. Logue won his first-round match on Wednesday, 2&1, before being eliminated on Thursday.
