Kyle Williams won the Hickory Heights Club Championship over the weekend.

Williams had rounds of 76 and 77 to finish with a 153 total on the par-71 layout near Spring Grove.

Williams, 18, is a Dallastown High School graduate who plans to attend Penn State Mont Alto.

Shane Henry finished second at 156 on rounds of 78 and 78, while Wes Ashton was third at 158 on rounds of 76 and 82.

Jeff Peterson won the First Flight in a one-hole playoff over Lance Williams. Both finished at 172. Peterson had a pair of 86s, while Williams shot 83 and 89. Brady Williams was third at 173 (89 and 84).

Karen Myers won her sixth Hickory Heights women's title with a 176 total. She had rounds of 87 and 89.

OTHER LOCAL GOLF NOTE

Yorker has ace at Briarwood West: York's Dave DeMarzo had a hole in one on Friday at Briarwood West Golf Club.

DeMarzo used a 7-iron to ace the 171-yard 17th hole.

It was witnessed by Richard Pease and Scott McFadden.
