York Catholic used a win at No. 2 doubles to capture a 4-3 non-divisional boys' tennis triumph over Spring Grove at Springettsbury Park.

Scott Bartkowiak and Nick Bartkowiak combined to win the No. 2 doubles match in straight sets for the Irish. The Bartkowiaks each also won a singles match. Thomas Thole also captured a singles victory for York Catholic.

For the Rockets, Grant Wierman and Andrew Bowman each won a singles match.

OTHER BOYS' TENNIS

Red Lion 4, Elizabethtown 1: At Red Lion, the Lions won the match in doubles when Chase McKnight and Andrew Miller won the No. 1 match, while Alex Ohme and Nick Stare won the No. 2 match. In singles, Sam Innerst won the No. 1 match in straight sets.

Dover 4, York Country Day 3: At Dover, the Eagles captured the non-league match in doubles when Max Strickler combined with Noah Wise to win the No. 2 match in straight sets (6-0, 6-0). Strickler, Wise and John Shaffer all each won a singles match. For the Greyhounds, Kerry Coles and Tyler Weiss each won a singles match and combined to win a doubles match.

Donegal 4, York Suburban 1: At Suburban, Elliot Diehl's victory at No. 1 singles gave the home team its only point in the non-league contest.
