West York's Harnish sets another record en route to a second gold medal at PIAA Class AA swim championships

A day after breaking a PIAA Class AA record in the 200 free, West York freshman Courtney Harnish was at it again Saturday. The Bulldog standout smashed the record in the 500 free with an incredible time of 4:40.04. The previous record of 4:43.92 was set in 2010 by Lindsay Vrooman of Ambridge.

Harnish's teammate, Erica Sarver, finished eighth in the diving competition.

The York Suburban girls finished seventh in the 400 free relay, which propelled them to a ninth-place overall finish in the final team standings.

The Suburban boys also finished seventh in the 400 free relay, which helped the Trojans to a ninth-place finish overall as a team.
