SHREWSBURY — The Susquehannock boys' swimming team sealed a winning York-Adams League season with a 115-55 victory over New Oxford on Monday afternoon in the Shrewsbury YMCA pool.

The Susquehannock girls made it a sweep by using their depth to defeat New Oxford, 94-76.

The Warriors' boys captured five of the eight individual events and all three relays. Susquehannock's Evan Mosko swam on three relay teams along with winning an individual event, and Robert Jackson competed on two relay teams in addition to recording a first-place finish in an individual event. New Oxford's Kyle DuPree was the meet's only double individual winner with victories in the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle. The Susquehannock boys closed at 3-2-0 in York-Adams Division II.

The Warrrior girls, meanwhile, piled up a 17-5 advantage in second- and third-place finishes to offset New Oxford's 7-4 edge in firsts. Susquehannock clinched the victory by going one-two in the meet's final event, the 400 freestyle relay. The Warriors' Katie Steines captured the 200 and 500 freestyles and anchored the 400 freestyle relay team. Devan Bateman (200 IM and 100 breaststroke) and Regan Chalk (100 butterfly and 100 backstroke) each won two events for New Oxford.
