Visiting Eastern York used an 18-10 fourth-quarter surge to rally past Dover on Thursday night in boys' basketball action.

Dover led 44-42 entering the final period.

Eastern improved to 9-7 with the non-league victory, while Dover fell to 6-10.

The Golden Knights triumphed thanked largely to foul shooting. Eastern was 15-for-18 at the charity stripe (83 percent), while Dover was just 9-for-19 (47 percent).

Broguen Nicholas paced the winners with 22 points. He got double-digit support from Jared Achterberg (14 points) and Grum Kebede (12 points).

Ryan Beck poured in 23 points for Dover, including six 3-pointers. Najah Fink added 12 for Dover, while Malik Allen chipped in 11.

OTHER BOYS' BASKETBALL

Red Lion Christian 81, Emmanuel Baptist 57: At Emmanuel Baptist, the Swordsmen improved to 11-2 with an easy win. Jake Myers (22 points, 10 rebounds), Chance Thompson (16 points, 11 rebounds), Corbin Willard (16 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) and Barry Lake (13 points) paced RLC. Myers is now four points from 2,000 for his career, while Thompson is two points from 1,000. The RLC boys play at home against Arlington Baptist at 6 p.m. Friday.

Delone Catholic 55, York Tech 27: At McSherrystown, the Squires led 23-11 at the half and went on to capture the York-Adams Division IV victory. Devon Moore led the home team with 10 points. Delone improved to 7-3 in the division and 11-6 overall.

Veritas Academy 58, Christian School of York 44: At Christian School of York, the Crusaders trailed 26-21 at the half and were unable to recover. Sean Graybill led the home team with 24 points, including four 3-pointers.
