York College sophomore Kyle Walthall was chosen as the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week.

Walthall secured victories in two individual events and a relay in the Spartans' 131-131 tie with Washington & Jefferson. He captured individual gold in the 50 breastroke and 100 breakstroke, and was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay squad.

York junior Casenya Stone was named the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week. Stone won a pair of individual events and was part of a winning relay team in the Spartans' meet against Washington & Jefferson last weekend. She captured victories in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and also contributed to the first-place 200 freestyle relay team.

Saberton honored: Sophomore men's soccer player Brendan Saberton has been named the Spartan Athlete of the Week. Saberton led the Spartans to a pair of wins for the week as York advanced to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16. Saberton tallied two goals in the Spartans' come-from-behind 2-1 win over host Stevens in the second round of the tournament. Saberton leads the Spartans with nine goals while he also has three assists for 21 points, the second highest total on the team.
