The pairings are set for the York-Adams American Legion Baseball Tournament.
The double-elimination event, which features eight teams, begins on Tuesday evening with four games. The tournament winner earns a berth in the Region 4 Tournament, which will take place from July 20-24 at Hanover's Diller Field.
Pleasureville, with a 3-2 victory over Dallastown on Sunday, earned the final spot in the York-Adams Tournament. Pleasureville and Stewartstown finished with identical 9-6 records, but Pleasureville, by defeating Stewartstown, 7-6, in the regular season, will be the No. 6 seeded-team, and Stewartstown will be the No. 7-seeded team.
Each first-round game on Tuesday will be played at the field of the better-seeded team.
Tuesday's first-round matchups are: No. 8 Hanover (8-6-1) at No. 1 New Oxford (12-2-1); No. 7 Stewartstown (9-6-0) at No. 2 South Western (11-4-0); No. 6 Pleasureville (9-6-0) at No. 3 Wrightsville (10-4-1); and No. 5 Glen Rock (9-5-1) at No. 4 Spring Grove (10-5-0).
All weekday playoff games will begin at 5:45 p.m.
In Pleasureville's win on Sunday, Austin Seitzinger delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to erase a 2-1 deficit and give Pleasureville the victory.
Seitzinger came through with his game-winning hit after three of his teammates reached on walks. He led Pleasureville with two hits and two RBIs, along with scoring a run.
Dallastown combined a Matt Attig single with two Pleasureville errors to grab a 2-0 lead in the third inning.
The home team cut the Dallastown lead in half on Wyatt Rentzel's sacrifice fly in the fourth inning.
Both Pleasureville pitcher Tyler Lingg and Dallastown pitcher Cyrus Tome went the distance. Lingg struck out two batters, walked one and allowed four hits. Tome recorded eight strikeouts, five walks and yielded three hits.
