The York College women's lacrosse team overcame Dickinson College and the bitterly cold conditions on Thursday afternoon.
The Spartans downed the visiting Red Devils 9-4 in a non-conference contest.
York, which is ranked No. 10 in NCAA Division III, improved to 6-1. Dickinson fell to 4-3.
Megan Stine led York with a career-high four points, coming on three assists and a goal. Kim Wayson and Jenna Hiponia added two goals each for the Spartans.
York outplayed Dickinson in every category. The Spartans outshot the Red Devils 29-16 and also held a 25-16 advantage in ground balls. York forced 19 Dickinson turnovers while the Spartans committed 16 miscues of their own.
Ashley Smith played all 60 minutes in goal for York, recording seven saves.
The Spartans will put their five-game winning streak on the line on Saturday when they host St. Mary's College in a Capital Athletic Conference contest at Kinsley Field. First draw is set for 1 p.m. in York.
