New Hope broke open a close game by outscoring Kennard-Dale, 22-11, in the fourth quarter en route to a 71-55 non-league boys' basketball victory on Thursday in Fawn Grove.

Montrel Morgan scored 19 points for the Mighty Ants, who led, 49-44, entering the final quarter. Morgan knocked down four 3-point shots. Kaewan Matthews and Dominique Salisbury combined for 27 New Hope points.

Kennard-Dale's Ryan Trott led all scorers with 23 points. Trott connected on three 3-point shots. Logan Moore and Vince Failla teamed for 21 points for the Rams.

OTHER BOYS' BASKETBALL

TOWLE INSTITUTE 81, RED LION CHRISTIAN 72: At Red Lion Christian, the Swordsmen led 59-54 at the end of the third quarter, but were unable to hang on and dropped the home contest. Corbin Willard led the home team with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Jake Myers had 23 points for RLC, while Chance Thompson grabbed 10 rebounds.
