The Red Lion girls placed five runners among the first eight finishers to earn three cross country victories in a meet at Fawn Grove on Thursday.
The Lions edged host Kennard-Dale, 28-31. The Lady Lions also defeated Eastern York (15-50) and Littlestown (15-50). K-D's Kayla White won the race in 21 minutes, 4 seconds. Red Lion's Amanda Wivell was second and K-D's Caitlin Sullivan and Haley Cole were third and fourth, respectively. Red Lion's Julia Kendrick was fifth. K-D finished 2-1, while Eastern was 1-2 and Littlestown was 0-3.
In the boys' meet, Littlestown's Xavier Sauvageau broke the course record in 17:15, but Red Lion captured five of the next six places to score three victories. The Lions defeated K-D (17-44), Eastern (15-48) and Littlestown (20-43). Red Lion's Caleb Gatchell finished second, and Gatchell's teammates, Nick McCabe and Nate Pardoe, placed third and fourth, respectively. K-D's Sawyer Bisker came in fifth. K-D finished 2-1, followed by Littlestown (1-2) and Eastern (0-3).

FAIRFIELD SWEEPS QUAD MEET At Dover, five Fairfield runners finished in the top 10 to give the Green Knights victories over Dover (23-32), West York (16-40) and York Tech (212-36). Dover's Danty Pagan won the race in 18:33. Two Fairfield runners, John Roan and Devin Barlow, followed Pagan across the finish line. York Tech runners Dylan Hartlaub and Cody Lehr took fourth and fifth, respectively. Dover finished 2-1, York Tech went 1-2 and West York was 0-3.

DOVER'S PACK EARNS THREE VICTORIES At Dover, Eagles' runners captured fifth through ninth to earn wins over West York (25-30), York Tech (20-35) and Fairfield (15-50). Kaitlyn Beckham of Fairfield won in 21:22. Emma Harrelson of York Tech finished second, and two West York runners, Bethany Weaver and Tabitha Jermyn, took third and fourth, respectively. Dover's Sarah Kistner was fifth. West York went 2-1, York Tech was 1-2 and Fairfield was 0-3.
