Kurtis Roberts pitched a no-hitter, but still took the loss Tuesday night in Dover's 1-0 victory over visiting Shiloh in Central Baseball League action.

Roberts struck out six, but walked eight.

Dover combined three walks with Derek Helwig's sacrifice fly to score its run in the first inning.

Winning pitcher Kevin Decker was extremely tough in the clutch. He forced Shiloh to strand eight runners in his six shutout innings.

Shane Melhorn earned the save by striking out the side in the seventh.

Eli Vottero and Tucker Fries had two hits apiece for Shiloh.

Dover sits in first place at 4-0, while Shiloh fell to 0-4.

OTHER CENTRAL LEAGUE GAMES

STOVERSTOWN 3, MANCHESTER 0: At Stoverstown, Jared Stiffler and Phil Lehman combined for a one-hit shutout for the home team. Stiffler pitched the first six innings, striking out five and walking five, while Lehman struck out one and walked one. Stoverstown registered all three runs in the bottom of the fifth, highlighted by an RBI double by Jake Hockensmith and a two-run single by Eric Dowling. Paul Smith went 2-for-3 for the winners, including a double. For Manchester, Jason Kelly struck out nine, while walking one in a complete game.

GLEN ROCK 7, JEF FERSON 5: At Jefferson, the visitors plated four runs in the top of the third to help secure the road victory. Mason Heyne powered the offense, going 2-for-4, including a triple, to go with two runs scored and two RBIs. Dan Rhodes (2-for-3, two runs scored), Tim Frisch (2-for-3, solo homer, two RBIs), Brad McCullough (2-for-3) and Sammy Miller (2-for-4) also excelled at the plate for Glen Rock. For Jefferson, Kurt Seiders (2-for-4, double), Joe Jasinski (2-for-3), John Schwartz (2-for-3) and Joe Trail (two-run homer) led Jefferson.

MOUNT WOLF 5, PLEA SUREVILLE 5: At Pleasureville, the umpires stopped the game after six innings because of darkness. It will be resumed in the top of the seventh at a date and time to be determined.
