The Eastern York girls' soccer team has earned another championship.
Lauren Himes scored the lone goal of the match on a direct kick with 20:57 remaining in the first half to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 victory at Fairfield on Tuesday.
The win clinched the York-Adams Division III crown.
Eastern's Cassidy Layman made three stops in goal to record the shutout. For the Green Knights, Amelia Ford made three saves.
Eastern finished 9-1-0 in the division (27 points), while Fairfield fell to 8-1-1 (25 points). Fairfield was the only Division III team to beat the Knights this season, earning a 2-0 win on April 13 at Wrightsville.
Eastern has now captured six division titles in the last eight seasons.
