The West Manheim Township Police Department and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed the Santander Bank branch located at 1700 Baltimore Pike near Hanover on Friday afterrnoon.

At about 1:30 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, police said. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the area of the bank in a green Ford Explorer, police said.

The robber is described as a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s, standing about 6 feet to 6-foot-3 with scruffy facial hair and a tongue piercing, according to police. He wore a gray Under Armour t-shirt, gray sweatpants, dark-colored baseball cap, sunglasses, and white sneakers.

The individual is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 717-232-8686 or the West Manheim Township Police Department at 717-632-7059 x104. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
