The 19th annual Prime of Life Festival will be held 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave. in West Manchester Township.

The event features the Safe Driving Competition for Mature Drivers, which takes place between 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

CarFit, an educational and vehicular safety program, will be held for free from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the festival site, according to the York County Area Agency on Aging's website.

CarFit offers seniors the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them for maximum comfort and safety. Trained technicians will work with drivers to make sure their cars are properly adjusted for them, according to a news release from the Center for Traffic Safety in Springettsbury Township.

CarFit checks take about 20 minutes to complete, according to the Area Agency on Aging.

The technicians are from the York Area Agency on Aging, Spring Garden Township Police Department, the South Central PA Highway Safety Program and the Center for Traffic Safety.
