An Adams County man allegedly stabbed two people during an altercation in Penn Township on Sunday, police say.

Daniel Steven Keeney, 21, of 418 South Street in McSherrystown faces two counts of aggravated assault in connection with the incident, according to his charging documents.

Keeney pulled a three-inch knife during an altercation at a house in the first block of Overlook Drive and allegedly stabbed two people multiple times just before 1 a.m., the documents state.

The victims suffered "serious bodily injury" and were taken to York Hospital, documents state.

Keeney was taken to the county's central booking unit were he was arraigned. Bail was set at $8,000.
