As of 5:40 p.m., the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is reporting 21 roads closed in York County because of flooding.

"Things are easing up, and roads are being reopened as soon as the water recedes," spokesman Greg Penny said in an email. "There is no damage that would prevent the roads from handling traffic safely."

State Route 182 is closed in Spring Garden Township from its intersection with Indian Rock Dam Road to its intersection with Croll School Road.

State Route 234 is closed in Paradise Township from its intersection with Lake Road to its intersection with Dairy Lane.

State Route 295 is closed from its intersection with Zimmys Drive and Susquehanna Trail in Conewago Township to its intersection with Grandview Drive in Newberry Township.

State Route 616 is closed from its intersection with West College Avenue in North Codorus Township to its intersection with U.S. Route 30 in West Manchester Township.

State Route 921 is closed in Conewago Township from its intersection with Lewisberry Road to its intersection with Susquehanna Trail.

Conewago Creek Road is closed from its intersection with Bowers Bridge Road in Conewago Township to its intersection with George Street in East Manchester Township.

State Route 1019 (also known as Wago Road) is closed from its intersection with Board Road in East Manchester Township to its intersection with River Drive in York Haven Borough.

Tunnel Hill Road is closed from its intersection with Twin Arch Road in North Codorus Township to its intersection with Days Mill Road in York Township.

State Route 3020 (also known as York Road, Valley Road and Glatfelters Station Road) is closed from its intersection with Rohrbaugh Road in North Codorus Township to its intersection with Ranch Road in Springfield Township.

State Route 3053 (also known as Colonial Valley Road, Leschey Church Road and Emig Road) is closed from its intersection with state Route 116 in North Codorus Township to its intersection with Menges Mills Road in Heidelberg Township.

State Route 3061 (also known as Biesecker Road and Stoverstown Road) is closed from its intersection with East Berlin Road in Jackson Township to its intersection with Emig School Road in Dover Township.

Canal Road is closed in Paradise Township from its intersection with U.S. Route 30 to its intersection with Lake Road.

Big Mount Road is closed in Paradise Township from its intersection with East Berlin Road to its intersection with Admire Road.

Old York Road is closed in Fairview Township from its intersection with Normandy Drive to its intersection with Lewisberry Road.

Freysville Road is closed in Hellam Township from its intersection with Valley Acres Road to its intersection with Arnold Lane.

State Route 3045 (also known as Moulstown Road, Jacobs Mill Road and Smith Station Road) is closed in Heidelberg Township from its intersection with state Route 116 to its intersection with Trolley Road.

State Route 3042 (also known as Salem Road, George Street, Days Mill Road, Croll School Road and Stoverstown Road) is closed from its intersection with Markle Road in North Codorus Township to its intersection with Tunnel Hill Road in York Township.

State Route 4012 (also known as York Street, Wellsville Road and Creek Road) is closed in Washington Township from its intersection with state Route 194 to its intersection with Doe Run Road.

Two roads are closed because of bridge precautions.

"That's where water has flowed against a bridge and our inspectors need to make sure there's no damage from the force of the water before reopening it," Penny wrote.

Those roads include state Route 24 -- which is closed in Springettsbury Township from its intersection with Glades Road to its intersection with Mundis Race Road -- and State Route 74, which is closed from its intersection with Church Road in West Manchester Township to its intersection with Pine Road in Dover Township.
